The Knight Foundation enabled the launch of our first-ever CIFF screenings outside of Cuyahoga County in 2011 and 2012 when the Knight Night in Akron was presented at the Plaza Cinemas at Chapel Hill. The tremendous response has emboldened the CIFF to seek a larger presence in Downtown Akron. We are thrilled to collaborate with the Akron Art Museum, Akron-Summit County Public Library, and Akron Film+Pixel on a Day and Knight in Akron for the 37th CIFF. A sampling of our feature films and short subjects will be included in programs that will take place in the Akron Art Museum Charles and Jane Lehner Auditorium and at the Akron-Summit County Public Library Main Auditorium, enabling CIFF patrons to curate their own experience in Downtown Akron.
