I just got word that Roman de Gare is going on Stand-By for its 7:15 screening tonight. If you haven't already bought your ticket, remember to get down here early to make sure you have the best place possible in the Stand-By line. Remember, those tickets will go on sale at 6:15 and people will be seated in numerical order, based on the numbers on their tickets. The lower your ticket number, the better your chances are.
Also, be aware that a lot of films will probably go on Stand-By on Friday and Saturday, so this is a great time to buy advance tickets before they do. If your film of choice has already gone on Stand-By, don't despair, just get here early. We're going to do everything we can to seat everyone who comes, of course, but the best way to help that along is with a little planning ahead. And if you have a ticket to a Stand-By show (or if you're a passholder) remember that we begin counting vacant seats 15 minutes before a show, so you need to be seated by then so that we won't accidentally offer your seat to a Stand-By ticketholder.
Also, remember to keep checking back; sometimes things that were on Stand-By come back off as we rearrange theaters to accommodate demands. You might just get a ticket to your show of choice after all.
