Remember Frank Ippolito from last year? He was the director of the short zombie flicks &Teller and &Teller 2, which featured Teller (of Penn & Teller fame) battling zombies. Frank is back again, with a new film that'll feed your horror movie cravings: Dracula's Daughters vs. the Space Brains, starring none other than Dr. Horrible himself, Neil Patrick Harris. It will be playing in tonight's round of Midnight Shorts!
Frank just stopped by the media hub to give us a link to this endorsement of the film, from Adam Savage (of Mythbusters fame).
And speaking of horror movies and campy kitsch, we also discovered today that the director of My Treat, showing in tomorrow's Short Film Program #2, is Ted Raimi -- well we knew that already, but we didn't realize that he was better known to so many of you as Joxer from Xena! And that he also acted in the Evil Dead films. Yes, our friends on Twitter, Joxer is in Cleveland. And he's very, very nice!
See why you need to be down here with us?
