Well, I wasn't imagining the size of last night's crowd. You broke our Opening Night records, with 1,300 people in five theaters! That's just amazing!
And you're already doing amazing things today, too. We've never had a First Friday that had a lot of Stand-By films, but at the moment, Bill tells us that six out of the seven films in the 7:00 PM round are already on Stand-By. So remember to look over our Stand-By 101 information, and plan to arrive early if you're interested in a film that has gone on Stand-By.
Also keep in mind that we have some parking issues at Tower City to take into account, and which might add a bit of extra travel time to your drive here.
But don't let any of that slow you down or stop you! We have an amazing day planned. Our noon round is starting now, and hopefully some of you are joining us for our "Popcorn For Lunch" program, which is making its festival debut today. (Of course, if you are, you're probably not reading this right now!)
We'll have information about the afternoon rounds up very soon, along with additional word about which films are on Stand-By as the day progresses. Thank you for making our First Friday amazing... even before noon!
