From a Tweet to a Roar

Wow, our Twitter page has quieted down! I guess all of you are in the theaters right now. Debby, who's been keeping up with the page, says she no longer has all that much to track. And we can see why -- downstairs, things are thronging! And it's not just Cavs fans charging through. Earlier today, with still a day and a half left in our programming, we broke our all-time record for attendance for the entire Festival! And that's with more than a day left... and with many of you going to the CSU campus to take in the "Picture Start" workshops!

The day keeps getting more and more incredible. I'm actually feeling a little bit lonely up in the media hub -- all of our camera and video people are downstairs taking pictures and making videos, and most of the rest of the staff has gone down to help manage the incredible lines. A lot of the time, it's just me and the media files, wrestling them onto our Flickr and YouTube pages. Of course, in between rounds, I get to listen in on the mini-roar of passholders coming up into the Hospitality HQ... and that's pretty cool, too!

One little reminder, in terms of parking... if you get shunted into "Event Parking," because of the 2009 Moondog Coronation Ball tonight in the Q, remember:

Film Festival Patrons DO NOT have to pay for parking.

Remember to tell the attendants that you're here for the Film Festival, because they are not supposed to charge you. If they try to charge you anyway, please get the attendant's name and bring it to us at Patron Services so that we can get the situation corrected for you.

It's going to be an awesome night, and we want to make sure you have the best time possible! Because you are the best Festival crowd in the world.
