It's Booth Appreciation Day!

There's an amazing team that, when everything is going well, you probably don't even know is here: the guys in the booth. And when something isn't going well, they're the ones making the herculean efforts to get things working again as fast as possible. They deal with missing discs, damaged reels, films cells catching fire, and anything else that might go wrong, with incredible aplomb every single day, and we are all in their debt for the wonderful screenings we get to watch.

That's why today is Booth Appreciation Day -- our day to applaud the people up in the projection booth who make sure every show goes on in style. So, as you're going to your seat for a screening, or leaving the theater after one has concluded, spare a thought for these wonderful, tireless people behind the scenes. Most of the time, you don't even notice they're there, but they are the ones who make it happen. And we're lucky enough to have one of the very best teams in the world.
