It's great to meet Festival friends!

I had a lovely encounter earlier this evening with one of our Film Fanatics! Tim McGlynn comes here every year all the way from Philadelphia, to catch as many of our films as he can. When he's not here, to my delight, he follows the Festival's activities and events on the blog! And after I announced our new film reviewing feature, he was the first of our members to take it for a test drive.

It's always such a delight when I meet those of you who follow the blog and get good value out of it, and I can't really express how happy that makes me. A few years ago, when I was covering our First-Weekend Blizzard, I had some of our patrons tell me that they used my posts to figure out how to get to the Festival in spite of the snow, and to keep up on what was going on while they were still snowed in! Tim told me that he's been watching the Closing Night ceremonies with great enthusiasm these last few days, because that's a part of the Festival he never gets to see.

We're getting ready to shut down the media hub and the Hospitality HQ for the night, so it's time for Part 3 of the ceremony. Tim, this one's for you!
