Keep an eye out for Dan O'Shannon!

My favorite guest-lecturer, from when I was a film student at CSU, is in the house! And every bit as awesome as I remember!

If you've ever seen Cheers, or Frasier, or Modern Family -- or a whole bunch of other awesome shows -- you've probably heard his lines tripping glibly off of the tongues of your favorite characters. You may even have found yourself casually saying something in your day-to-day life that Dan originally wrote. He's an excellent screenwriter, obviously, and several years ago he gave a life-changer of a lecture to a writing group I was part of. I never forgot him.

And now he's here at the CIFF!

He's wandering around in a purple staff shirt -- we're totally taking ownership of him and keeping him -- and one of our green guest badges, and if you spot him, stop and talk to him! Not only does he have amazing writing advice and lots of cool stories about working in Hollywood, but he may just have some chances for you to enter into our Challenge Match raffles. In fact, you'll probably find him at or near the Challenge Match table, so you should head over there!
