Learning how to handle Flickr

Wow, the last two hours, since I helped get Margaret's post up (no, I promise, I did not write those flattering comments about me!) have flown by! I've been trying to master our Flickr page, because we've been uploading photos to it by the truckload but they're currently not organized. I've been learning how to make sets and collections... and then how to figure out which of the more-than-2000 photos uploaded so far belong in each one!

Our photographers and videographers have been producing huge quantities of wonderful material, only a fraction of which has been uploaded and/or categorized. We have several people diligently working on getting things in order, though. So if you've had your picture taken by our photographers, or been interviewed by our video crews, and you have yet to actually see your pictures and footage up... it's coming, I promise. :)

Well... as soon as I can figure out how to keep YouTube and Flickr from crashing on me every half hour...

In the meantime, though, I've managed to organize a few sets the way we want. We currently have sets with pictures of Yen Tan, the director of Ciao, Frank Ippolito's zombie make-up session (and its results, lurching through the theater lobby!), and Chai Vasarhelyi, director of Youssou N'Dour. It's not a whole lot, yet... but it's a start! And there's a lot more to come, as soon as I can get Flickr to cooperate with me again. :)
