Lost in Translation
Have you ever watched a film with subtitles or dubbing, and known that something wasn't quite right with the translations? I know I have! Now join actor Patrick Drolet (Father and Guns) and director/puppeteer Yvette Edery (Jillian Dillon) as they reenact that experience for you in our media room. I love what they've come up with!
If you've spotted errors in the subtitles, too... yes, they were deliberate. (Hey, it's a lot better than seeing a samurai warrior, surrounded by enemies, tell his allies: "we're surrounded by our toes!" -- isn't it? (And yes, I really saw that subtitle once! It took me several minutes to stop laughing.))
