We're back to our high again for the 9:00 PM round! We'll be showing six movies, and they'll be playing on eight screens again! Originally we were only going to be using seven screens, but that was before the box office exploded with ticket-buyers for Prague. The word from our wide-eyed Bill Guentzler? "Prague tickets are selling like schnitzel!"
The round will begin at 9:15 with Two Players From the Bench, a clever comedy with many brilliant twists and turns. This is now on Stand-By, so get here early to make sure you'll get a seat.
At 9:30, we have three films beginning. The fascinating A Map For Saturday is having an encore presentation, and Director Brook Silva-Braga, who loves the Festival so much he came back for extra days, will be available afterwards for a Filmmaker Q&A. This is also on Stand-By, and for very good reason! Meanwhile, Prague will be strutting its schnitzel in two theaters to accommodate the demand, and Punk's Not Dead will open as well, with a Filmmaker Q&A afterwards featuring Director/Producer Susan Dynner.
At 9:45, Coffee Date, which got a B+ from the Plain Dealer, will start in two theaters to accommodate the high demand, and this has now also gone on Stand-By. Also showing will be Sons, a fascinating and sobering tale of vengeance.
We'll have one more round after this one, with three perfect late night movies! I'll have more information about them in a little bit!
