I stopped by the Merchandise desk earlier and caught up with how things were going there. It's amazing how popular all of the merchandise is! We already have to start reordering some things, because you guys can't get enough of them. But don't worry. If we're out of anything you were looking for, we shouldn't be for long, and I've heard that an online Festival shop will debut next month (just in case you realize, the day after Closing Night, that you forgot to get that hoodie or hat you were eyeing).
But there's something really cool at the Merchandise desk today... and probably not for long, so if you have a real love of all things Film, you might want to hurry over.
Author Mark Harris was the winner of our From the Page to the Projector award this year, for his riveting book Pictures at a Revolution. He graciously donated some copies to us, complete with his autograph, which are currently for sale at the Merchandise counter. We only have five left so they'll be gone soon. We're selling them at the cover price of $17, but remember, those Amazon copies don't have Mark's personal touch on them. Run by the Merchandise counter if you'd like to own one of them. But either way, definitely read his book!
