Stand-By, Late Additions, and Dear Lemon Lima

Since there are a few Stand-By related issues that have come up so far this weekend, I wanted to discuss a few of them here. We really want to make sure that the Festival is, and stays, as enjoyable for everyone as possible.

First, we really are sorry that nobody in Dear Lemon Lima's Stand-By line was able to get in today. That's something that almost never happens. The last time I remember it happening was two years ago, with The Substitute (an incident I referred to in one of yesterday's posts). And as was the case with The Substitute, our solution has been to add an additional screening.

Dear Lemon Lima will now also show on Monday, March 22nd at 5:10 pm. At the moment, it hasn't gone on Stand-By, but with its popularity as high as it's turned out to be, I really have to urge you to go ahead and buy your ticket as soon as you can. It's really worth it, and we want to make sure you get your chance to see this very special film.

A good way to keep track of late additions like this is on our Latest Updates page. Information about which films have gone on Stand-By can also be found here, and it's always going to be more up-to-date than what's printed in the Daily.

I know a number of you were upset to discover that the Stand-By list was no longer being posted on the back of Daily next to the schedule, but there really wasn't room to post the list of the 28 films that were already on Stand-By just for today, much less the whole list... and the information can change just between the time that we send the Daily to the printer and the time it arrives in the theater the next morning. So it's really best if you check on the Latest Updates page, as much as possible. We wish we had room for everything, but this incredible Stand-By roster took us by surprise, too!

But don't worry, we're going to do everything in our power to keep you as up-to-date as we can, so that you can get into all of the films you were hoping to see.
