Okay, I'm absolutely, positively, and in all other ways certain this time that this really is the night we're at the Capitol Theatre. I'm still blushing over that mix-up, I'll have you know! And still hoping none of you actually made the trek out to the West Side last night!
Most of you were definitely a lot more on the ball than I was, because Shaker Square was packed! Patrick says the food was flying off the trays at the pre-film reception at SASA, and all of the theaters were filled almost to capacity! Everybody on the Stand-By line got in to see Hayfever, too! Whew!
So now it really is Capitol Theatre night tonight! If you want to attend, it's time to get Dressed now. (See? Meaghan's not the only one who can do cheesy puns!) But seriously, head over to the West Side to spend an evening with one of the fashion industry's most amazing rags-to-riches success stories. Nary Manivong will be on hand, along with director David Swajeski -- they were in the media hub earlier today and they are awesome people.
Start out the evening at XYZ the Tavern, which really will have a pre-film reception tonight starting at 5:30, and will have after-film dinner specials later on. Then the film itself will start at 7:15.
I did find out more about that rumored fashion show... and it's not actually a fashion show at all. The Cleveland Retail Commission is apparently holding a post-film reception of their own at Stone Mad, but there won't be anyone strutting their stuff on a catwalk... that I know of. If someone does, though, I want pictures!
So get into your haute couture and head over to the Capitol Theatre -- the film is on Stand-By, but Bill's doing a really great job of getting everybody in. If you're not feeling quite so fashionable, though, there are still plenty of awesome movies going on in Tower City. Just wear something warm, because that walkway is still a little glacial this evening!
