The Nor'easter shouldn't touch us!

Did I mention I'm a weather geek?

So if any of you are looking at the weather reports about a developing Nor'easter and getting worried, I just thought I'd let you know that your weather geek blogger is paying close attention to the situation. Right now, none of the forecasts indicate that we'll get any of it. There's only a 10% chance of precipitation of any kind tonight, and only a 20% chance tomorrow during the day. We might get some fog tonight, but the roads should stay clear. Tomorrow night we have a 60% chance of precipitation, but it still shouldn't accumulate. Now if you're in Pennsylvania or New York State, things are going to be rougher... so if you came in from there, you might consider staying with us a little bit longer. ;)

I'll continue keeping an eye on things just in case, but it looks like our really good Festival weather is going to hold out. Last night's snow didn't even make my street -- notorious for lack-of-plowing and saltlessness -- messy. And as I write this, the streets and sidewalks down around Tower City are completely clear. So we'll be just fine.
