Things Not to Do in the Theater

Last year, our wonderful friends at Virginia Marti put together a really cool video about the five things people do in the theater that everyone else around them wishes they wouldn't. Since we've had a few complaints about people talking during films, I thought maybe this would be a good time to post it as a (funny!) reminder.

Regarding talking during films, even if the film you're attending is a subtitled work in a foreign language, there are probably people in the theater who actually speak that language and want to listen to the words. So even when it seems like it doesn't matter, it really still does.

We would love to hear from you about what you think of the films, though, so please feel free to go onto the film's page, log into your membership account, and post your rating and review of the film. As I mentioned when I first blogged about this, I only have four rules: No profanity, no personal attacks against anyone, no spoilers, and keep it short. But you can help your fellow festival-goers decide if a film is one they'd like to see, and you can help us learn more about which films are so popular that maybe we need to try to add another screening.
