After being painfully dumped by his boyfriend of several years, Drake has no compassion for those who are in a happy relationship. When he meets a close-knit group of male friends, they welcome the young and gorgeous newcomer with open arms. He brings excitement and spices up the lives of the circle of friends. But in getting to know each of them, he discovers and exposes their weaknesses. From that moment on, he turns their lives into an unpredictable WHIRLWIND. Drake starts by seducing Sean, which causes plenty of drama because he is in a relationship with Bobby. He then moves on to JD and eventually Mick, where he finds pleasure in playing with their emotions and insecurities. Is it possible for one bitter person to tear apart years of friendship among others? Will the men choose the past they once had, or will their futures be tainted? Winner of the Jury Award for Best Feature at the Long Island Gay and Lesbian Film Festival, WHIRLWIND tests the meaning of friendship and teaches you to keep your friends close and your enemies even closer.—L.W.
