CIFF members at the Movie Mogul, Executive Producer, and Director levels are invited to join us for the Opening Night Film, Hamill, followed by a Gala Reception at MK Ferguson Plaza. For others who would like to join us, Opening Night Star tickets gain admission to the film, the Gala Reception, and complimentary self-parking at Tower City Center. Opening Night Star tickets can be purchased for $100 (CIFF Members) or $125 (Non-Members). Special guests who are planning to attend include Matt Hamill, Oren Kaplan (Director), Eben Kostbar (Producer), and Russell Harvard (Actor in the role of Matt Hamill).

Inspired by the screening of Bobby Fischer Against the World, Progress with Chess, Northeast Ohio’s largest chess teaching organization, will be conducting simultaneous chess exhibition. The film’s producer, Matthew Justus, will be on hand inviting audiences to join the Simultaneous chess matches. Sixty chess boards will be available on a first come, first served basis. Simultaneous is FREE and open to the public.
