Run Time: 93 minutes
The day Arman turns 33 is a day of revelation. The Parisian cinephile is going to get off the couch, start exercising, and find a real job. Something has to happen. Enter Amélie, a gorgeous cynic who dislikes her name because it’s “too nice.” The two literally knock heads on a morning run and Arman is instantly head over heels. Weeks later, they cross paths again in a much more scathing encounter that leaves both of them in the process of healing. 2 AUTUMNS, 3 WINTERS is the touching, comical journey that Arman and Amélie embark on, highlighting their triumphs, defeats, and the little moments in between. When Arman’s best friend Benjamin has a brush with death, Arman and Amélie’s relationship becomes much more complex. Through an inventive narrative that cleverly eschews the fourth wall, we are given a startlingly honest, often hilarious, window into the lives of Arman, Amélie, and Benjamin: three wonderful cinematic heroes.
