Run Time: 128 minutes
Sindhr is a serial killer. His name honors Sindhr Dalwai, once known in Bombay as Raman Raghav, who claimed 41 victims in the 1960s. Sindhr says he is “God’s very own CCTV camera,” helping the Death God cleanse the world. When he calmly confesses to a team of police, their drug-crazed leader Raghavan thinks he’s lying and frees him. Raghavan is also a killer, a cocaine-fueled demon with a badge. Realizing his error, he sets out in pursuit of this new Raman. The two of them slither and dance through the underbelly of Bombay, but who is chasing whom? Sindhr senses a soulmate in the brutal policeman. He’s been watching Raghavan and knows what crimes he has committed, as well as what he is yet capable of doing. When these two monsters meet, will one eliminate the other, or will they join forces to create something even more evil and unstoppable? PSYCHO RAMAN is a stylish, violent, and nerve-shredding dive into the deepest and darkest psychological waters. Take a deep breath. (In Hindi with subtitles) —C.R.
