How do I purchase tickets to CIFF43 Opening Night?
Tickets to the CIFF43 Opening Night Film and Reception will go on sale mid-November on clevelandfilm.org.
CIFF43 Opening Night will take place Wednesday, March 27, 2019 begining at 7:00 PM at Playhouse Square.
The Opening Night Film (TBA) will be presented at the Connor Palace, followed by a reception at the KeyBank State Theatre.
Tickets are $200 for CIFF members and $225 for non-members. Purchase tickets HERE.
How much are CIFF tickets?
Opening Night (Film and Reception) tickets:
Students/Seniors (65+), in-person and w/ valid ID only
*For large groups attending CIFF, we offer a group rate of $14 per ticket (a savings of $2 on every ticket) when purchasing 10 or more tickets to the same screening. Please contact our Box Office at 877.304.3456 for more information or to place an order.
Please note, tickets purchased via the phone, internet, or mail will be charged a $4 handling fee per order.
When and where can I purchase tickets and passes?
CIFF43 tickets, memberships, gift certificates, and Day Passes can be purchased through our website, over the phone (877.304.3456), via the mail (2510 Market Avenue, Cleveland, OH 44113), or in-person at the Film Festival Box Office, located in the lobby of Tower City Cinemas.
CIFF Memberships and gift certificates can be purchased anytime, year-round on our website or by calling 216.623.3456. CIFF43 Opening Night Tickets, CIFF43 Day Passes, and CIFF43 tickets are only on sale during a specific time frame.

For CIFF members: March 8, 2019 at 11 AM via our website or through the Film Festival Box Office.The Box Office is open pre-Festival March 8, 2019-March 27, 2019, Monday-Saturday, 11:00 AM-7:00 PM and Sunday 12 Noon-5:00 PM.
For general public: March 15, 2018 at 11 AM via our website or through the Film Festival Box Office. The Film Festival Box Office is open pre-Festival, March 15-March 27, 2019, Monday-Saturday, 11:00 AM-7:00 PM and Sunday, 12 Noon-5:00 PM.
During CIFF43 (March 28, 2019-April 7, 2019) the Box Office is open Sunday-Thursday, 8:30 AM-10:00 PM and Friday-Saturday, 8:30 AM-12 Midinight.
CIFF43 Tickets are available for purchase online and by phone (877.304.3456) up until 12 Midnight on the day before the screening. Day-of-show tickets are only available for purchase in-person at the Film Festival Box Office in Tower City Cinemas.

How do I get my tickets once I've ordered them?
Ticket orders placed on or before March 18, 2019 via the internet, phone, or mail will be mailed to the address provided (unless indicated as Will Call by the purchaser).
Ticket orders placed on or after March 19, 2019 will be available for pick up prior to the Festival at the Film Festival Box Office (located in the lobby of Tower City Cinemas at the main box office) or during the Festival at Will Call, located in the Walkway outside of Tower City Cinemas to the left of the main entrance to the Cinemas. I did not receive my tickets. What should I do?
Orders placed on or prior to March 18, 2019 will be mailed unless indicated differently by the customer. Orders placed on or after March 19, 2019 will be held at Will Call. For information on Will Call, please refer to "What is Will Call and where is it located?"
If you have not received your tickets within a few days of placing your order on or prior to March 18, 2019, or if your order arrives incomplete or is incorrect, contact the Film Festival Box Office by phone (877.304.3456) or email (firstname.lastname@example.org) for assistance.
I lost my tickets. What should I do?
In the event you have misplaced your CIFF tickets, please contact the Film Festival Box Office (877.304.3456 or email@example.com) or visit them during hours of operation, in the lobby of Tower City Cinemas. CIFF personnel will locate your ticket order in our system by order number or the last name of the purchaser.
Can ticket purchases be exchanged, refunded or resold?
Exchanges will be subject to a $4 processing fee per order. Please note, exchanges are not always possible.
No refunds except in the case of a cancelled screening. The last day for refunds is April 7, 2019.
Unused tickets and vouchers cannot be refunded, exchanged, or applied to Challenge Match donations.
Tower City Center is private property. CIFF tickets, vouchers, and passes cannot be sold within the premises of Tower City Center. Doing so will result in permanent removal from the Festival and Tower City Center.
I won vouchers. When will they be sent to me?
Donation Certificates need to be returned to the CIFF Office (2510 Market Avenue Cleveland, OH 44113) by March 2019. Those who have returned their donation certificate will have vouchers and a CIFF43 Program Guide will be mailed out to winners mid-March 2019.
How much are vouchers?
Vouchers are not available for purchase.Vouchers can only be obtained through CIFF membership benefits at certain levels, CIFF donations, CIFF sponsorships, or CIFF community partnerships.
What is the difference between a voucher and a ticket?
A ticket is for a specific film with a specific screening date and time. A voucher, which comes in paper or virtual form, is non-specific and therefore, will not admit you to a film. Paper vouchers are to be exchanged over the phone or in-person for tickets to specific screenings. Virtual Voucher Credits can be exchanged online, over the phone, or in-person at the CIFF Box Office. Exchange as early as possible to avoid Stand By or sellouts!
How do I purchase a gift certificate?
Gift certificates can be purchased online through our website on the Gift Certificates page, over the phone (216.623.3456), or in person at our office (2510 Market Avenue, Cleveland, OH 44113).
Gift Certificates are redeemable for CIFF special presentations, tickets, memberships, and merchandise. Gift Certificates are not redeemable for concessions.
To purchase a gift certificate through our website, follow these steps:
1. Click the STORE link located in the main navigation bar.
2. Select the Gift Certificates tab.
3. Enter the amount and select your preferred delivery method: Email or Paper.
4. Enter the recipient's information and where you would like the certificate sent. Click ADD TO CART. A pop-up box will appear to confirm you have added items to your cart.
5. If you are done adding items to your cart, click go to cart on the pop-up box or click the shopping cart icon at the top right of the page.
6. Review the order information to make sure it is correct, then click CHECKOUT NOW.
7. Enter your billing information and click CONTINUE.
8. Enter your payment information and hit PLACE ORDER.
You will receive an order confirmation number and a receipt will be sent via email, if provided.
How do I redeem my gift certificate?
Gift certificates can be redeemed in-person, over the phone (877.304.3456), through the mail (2510 Market Ave, Cleveland, OH 44113), or online during checkout by providing the code located in your emailed or on your paper certificate.
We're down to our last few days of proofing the #CIFF43 Program Guide before they're off to the printer! Look for them the week of March 4th!
