In this live Filmmaker Conversation, healthcare reform activist Wendell Potter is joined by Remote Area Medical CEO Jeff Eastman, progressive entrepreneur Joe Sanberg, and filmmaker Paul Michael Angell to discuss the legacy of Stan Brock and the current state of healthcare provision in the United States. The event will also feature former Ohio State Senator and Congressional candidate for Ohio District 11 Nina Turner, as well as several Remote Area Medical patients and volunteers.

Stan Brock led quite the life. As a young man he lived off the grid as a cowboy, wrangling cattle through the Amazonian ranches of South America. Then he went on to star in one of America’s most popular wildlife programs, Wild Kingdom. Although Wild Kingdom became one of the highest rated shows on television, Brock eluded fortune and fame, eventually selling off everything he owned and dedicating his life to solving one of the world’s most glaring issues: healthcare.
