SINAI FIELD MISSION

Wiseman explores the day-to-day lives of the 163 Americans who live and work on the isolated outpost called the Sinai Field Mission. This American-run surveillance post was created by the 1975 Sinai II agreements and is located in the buffer zone that separates Egypt and Israel. Its function is to monitor traffic to and from the zone, operate the U.S. peacekeeping contingent and see that other surveillance bases, manned by Egypt and Israel, conform to the Sinai II agreement. Award winner, London Film Festival.
