An extraordinary look at the controversial artist, Paul Cadmus, whose 1938 painting depicting sailors on leave picking up both men and women was considered too lewd and lascivious to display. Cadmus' expertise in painting with egg yolk tempera as well as his exquisite portraiture of the male nude is explored in this award winning film. Filmmaker David Sutherland captures Cadmus' philosophies in an engaging and sensual manner.
