90 DAYS

A hilarious sequel to "Masculine Mystique," 90 DAYS is a complete departure from its docudrama origins. Holdover characters are Blue, a sensitive nebbish, now seeking a mail-order bride and macho Alex, finally dumped out by wife and mistress. Blue finds Hyang-Sook in a "Cherry Blossoms" catalogue and she arrives from Korea with a 90-day visa for a trial before marriage. An awkward situation for shy people, made even more so by the surprise visit of Blue's mother, who is unmindful of the arrangement. A beautiful woman makes Alex a bizarre business proposition, contingent on the state of his sperm count. How the 2 men deal with each other and cope in muddled bewilderment with modern women makes for a laugh-a-minute comedy, superbly performed.
