UNA, MY LOVE is a combustible combination of sex and politics, the story and Una (Sonja Savic, "Something in Between"), a 24-year-old student interested in journalism. Her boyfriend is jailed and the university dean strikes a deal with Una to get him out. All she has to do is interview Michel, a cynical sociology prof and capture his radical ideologies on tapes for the authorities' use. The married prof is strongly attracted to Una and the "interviews" develop into a torrid affair. Una continues to record everything, even their sexual intimacies and becomes so indispensable to Michel that he foresakes every aspect of his life to be with her. Overhearing part of the incriminating tapes in the dean's office, he knows he's lost what he never had.
