This gripping fantasy-thriller illuminates the complex and compelling secret lives of children. Young Anna likes to draw, and creates a fantasy world on paper. One day, she finds she is able to influence her dreams with her drawings, and goes so far as to add real people to her sketches, and thus her dreams. No longer able to control her increasingly scary dreams, she discovers that her sleeping hours are changing the very real life of a very real sick boy. When fantasy and reality merge, the two children are thrown into a terrifying world from which they may never escape. Part Brothers Grimm, part Twilight Zone, PAPERHO USE maintains a haunting, evocative mood all the way to its spellbinding ending.
