Taking up where TAXI ZUM KLO (CIFF 1982) left off, TAXI TO CAIRO follows the uninhibited misadventures of the gay libertine hero, Frank (Frank Ripploh) as he continues his promiscuous ways. Warned by his mother for the last time that he must go straight and get married or be cut out of her will, Frank hires an actress to pose as his wife. They set up a platonic household in the country, and all goes well until they both fall for the hunky new neighbor and Frank discovers his jealousy is twofold, since he has come to care for Klara, the first woman in his life, as well. TAXI 11 is an outrageous comedy.
