All of the enchantment and delight of Peter Rabbit and his friends come to life in a brand new collection of Beatrix Potter tales made for the big screen. Adapted from Potter's own paintings, the colorfully animated characters and whimsical stories will have any young child enthralled. The collection is eloquently narrated by the live-action version of Ms. Potter as she recounts each tale in carefully crafted letters to friends. In THE TALE OF THE FLOPSY BUNNIES AND MRS. TUTTLEMOUSE, Peter Rabbit's brother, Benjamin Bunny, and his new family run up against the likes of Mr. McGregor but manage to outsmart him. The bunnies' adventures continue in THE TALE OF MR. TOD when they are kidnapped by the hungry badger. THE TALE OF THE TWO BAD MICE AND JOHNNY TOWN-MOUSE takes a country mouse on an unexpected journey to the city. Altogether, they're a refreshing change from the cartoon jungle of Saturday morning television. (Recommended for children ages 5 and up) - J. Parsant, Mill Valley Film Festival
