What could be worse than Alan catching his incorrigibly unfaithful lover Rob in a compromising position with Alan's own sister? How about Alan's mother catching them instead. Now deserted, Rob uses a video camera to make a tape for Alan, intending that this latest apology will be a permanent document proving that he is very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, extremely sorry, and he wants Alan to come back. Unfortunately, things keep intruding on Rob's mea culpa, like neighbor Troy and his narcotics stash, a meter reader, squabbling dyke acquaintances, and a drag queen with a mean right hook. As the camera keeps running (and some how keeps from giggling), Rob's recording turns into a wacky single-POV narrative of relationship obsession, aggression, malfunction, and diversion. Daniel MacIvor's ingeniously outrageous short feature will screen hilariously for viewers of all genders. It's the most fun you can have with your lenscap off.
