HARI OM: A road movie in which the main form of transportation is a decked-out rickshaw; a romance of the land; a search for self. In his feature film debut director Bharatbala creates a hybrid of great beauty and silly hijinks, starring Vijay Raaz of ?Monsoon Wedding? as Hari Om. A well-off Parisian couple takes an expensive train trip through India. Benoit is happy in the pampered comfort of the train while Isa yearns for adventure. She gets more than she asks for when she steps into Hari Om?s spectacular rickshaw. She is running away from her restrained life; he?s running away from the rickshaw don who is demanding money. Benoit and Isa get separated, and she and Hari share a mind-boggling series of adventures. While she embraces the wonders of India, Hari can only stand by and marvel. But Benoit embarks on his own road adventure. Will Isa stay, with Hari at her side, or return to her other life?
