Antonio, 80-years-old and once a highly regarded sculptor, is now spending too much time alone in his studio… or so his wife Susana thinks. He has given up exhibiting and passes most of his days puttering, reliving his past fame. However, after receiving a phone call from a friend inviting Antonio and Susana to his opening, Antonio begins to wonder about the possibility of exhibiting again. He commences making the necessary calls and glad-handing the local dealers, exhausting his list of contacts. Gently but pointedly he is told by another artist friend, "Your time was another time." This news sends him into a depression that further accentuates what Antonio believes to be his artistic inadequacies. Meanwhile, Susana watches in alarm and decides she must take action. Enlisting the help of their two sons (and some especially effective facilitation from young granddaughter Bianca), Susana leads a behind-the-scenes crusade to make Antonio an exhibition. Stubbornness runs in the family and "no" is not an acceptable answer. Will their hard work pay off and will Antonio finally get his much-needed boost of THE EXHIBITION?
