The short film Caleb's Gift is set in present-day rural America and tells a story of forgiveness and second chances. A fifty-year-old father, who's an equine veterinarian, and his nineteen-year-old son, who has become a drug addict, have become bitterly estranged. A car accident, triggered by the son's drug addiction and involving a beautiful horse prized by both men, forces them to confront their wounded relationship. Out of this tragic accident comes new hope and a second chance for father and son.
