Country: BELGIUM, IRELAND
Run Time: 115 minutes
Mark’s life is about to change. He wakes up one morning to find a videotape in the mail from a wealthy former lover of his deceased brother, Michel. Mark had always lived in the shadow of his brother and still holds a grudge after Michel had an affair with his wife. Mark watches Grace, the wealthy former lover who is unaware of Michel’s death, make a startling confession on the videotape: she has always loved Michel and wants him to return to her. After much thought and the goading of a scrappy mechanic named Ronnie, Mark decides to impersonate his late brother and fly to Ireland to woo Grace and finally get the revenge he has wanted—and possibly make some money while at it. When Mark and Ronnie arrive, they’re greeted by lavish dinners, robust mansions, and spectacular views as far as the eye can see. Everything seems pleasant enough until a series of incidents give Mark and Ronnie the hint that something is amiss. What it means to be a BROTHER is about to be redefined.
