It’s Daisy Quokka’s lifelong dream to win the World’s Scariest Games. The athletic competition is a series of challenges that tests contestants’ strength, intelligence, and ferocity, concluding with the champion being crowned the World’s Scariest Animal! Born an adorable quokka, a small animal species known for its cute appearance and gentle nature, Daisy’s aspirations are dismissed by family, friends, and community members. Daisy’s repeatedly told that quokkas aren’t built to be champions, and she should leave the games to the lions, tigers, and crocodiles. Her parents encourage her to focus instead on the family’s tourism business of allowing visitors to take selfies with her. Despite their misgivings, Daisy is tired of being underestimated and recruits a reluctant, washed-up former champion as a coach to help her train. She’s determined to prove to her city that champions come in all shapes and sizes. The animated adventure DAISY QUOKKA: WORLD’S SCARIEST ANIMAL is an exciting and lighthearted tale for all ages that encourages pursuing monumental dreams and challenging society’s labels. — R.R.
