In an abandoned attic, dictaphone robot REC desperately tries to connect with a bird that's perched on the window. Using his play button to say something, he is shocked by the sound, which scares away the bird. With found objects in the attic, he creates a hospitable scene to make her come back. But will she return before his battery dies?
