When nine-year-old Vega and five-year-old Billie embark on an overnight hiking trip with their dad, the sisters get a bit more adventure than they signed up for. After their father falls into a pit beneath some large rocks, Vega and Billie must find their way back and get help... alone. With a nine-year-old leading the way, it only takes a few wrong turns to get the girls lost in the middle of the expansive Norweigan forest, just before nightfall. Instead of giving in to panic or despair, Vega and Billie begin to picture themselves as heroes in the middle of a fairytale, ready to take on any and all obstacles in their way. Drawing courage from one another, the sisters continue their journey through the woods, encountering some magical experiences along the way. Celebrating sisterhood, bravery, and finding your own inner strength, SISTERS: THE SUMMER WE FOUND OUR SUPERPOWERS is a magically sweet film the whole family can enjoy. Join Vega and Billie as they discover their superpowers and save the day! (In Norweigan with subtitles) — G.S.
