About This Film
Film Overview
“This is not a relationship,” assures New York broadcast executive Sarah to her girlfriend Lauren of her whirlwind affair with easygoing liquor-store manager Jordan; she's just having a good time. But tell that to her boyfriend. After an initial, calamitous blind date arranged/connived by their mutual acquaintances, the two spend such blissful days (and nights) together that Jordan contemplates taking their romance to a more serious level. He's partially inspired by his long-wedded parents' retirement and a best buddy's upcoming nuptials, in 30 days, to Lauren. Now he expects loving commitment will help him rise above the general going-nowhere stasis of his career and dull routine with the perennial Friday-night poker gang. But Jordan has a lifelong penchant for saying the wrong thing at the wrong time to women. And proposing to Sarah is no exception. Can this non-relationship be saved? Deny all you want, but you will see yourselves (and your poorly-maintained icebox) or people you know reflected in Aaron Harnick's savvy, modern comedy of manners, marriage, morning-TV weathermen, morning-after mood swings, and maturity. Cleveland connection: 30 DAYS is produced by two of the Rego brothers, from the family behind the area's Rini-Rego grocery-store chain.
