Film Overview

Original Title: Sve Džaba
English Title: All For Free

Goran never wanted to do anything, except maybe own a café. But then he would have to quit drinking, and he's not going to do that anytime soon. Antonio Nuić's ALL FOR FREE portrays the difficulty of life after loss with emotion and charm. In the aftermath of the Balkan wars, Goran wastes away his days at the bar with his friends-armless Miro, trendy Josip, and bartender Marko. Living off of his inheritance, Goran shares his house in small-town Bosnia with Miro, whose own house and arms were blown up while clearing mines after the war. Following a tragic event, Goran does something on his own for the first time: he leaves. Wandering the Bosnian countryside, he meets Fara, an old man weighed down by work. To relieve his new friend, Goran buys Fara's refreshment truck and makes three rules for himself: never to stay in one place for more than a day, to quit drinking, and to give all of his products away for free. Everything goes to plan, until Goran meets a girl. (In Bosnian and Croatian with English subtitles) – E.J.B.
