From the director of SUGARBABY comes another very funny and offbeat film. Most women, no matter how infuriated, wouldn't leave their husbands while on vacation, especially in the Mojave Desert 75 miles from Las Vegas. But even her limited command of English doesn't stop Marianne Sagebrecht (SUGARBABY) from doing just that in this wonderful and very different German comedy. A short walk down a desert highway brings Sagebrecht to th Bagdad Cafe and Motel, a run-down and rarely frequented truck stop in the middle of nowhere. her short visit changes the lives and attitudes of those who live there and makes the cafe the most popular stop in the Mojave.
