This quirky love story involves a dance instructor pushing 30, her vampish mother who dates much younger men, a married man having an affair, a young man stalking the dance instructor, and the young man?s grandfather, an ornithologist who is making a film about the ?Love Birds of Slovenia.? While the birds may have it figured out, the humans have much more trouble. Plucky, cute and quirky, like a Slovenian Meg Ryan, Dusha spends her days teaching, and her nights drugged-out and dancing solo at clubs. She?s involved with Boris, a married man who has little time for her, and her biological clock is ticking. Her mother is no help, and Dusha realizes that someone is stalking her, filming her, and entering her apartment. When she finally meets her stalker, he is like no one she has ever met, nor is he like any stalker. Dusha?s lonely, repetitive, aimless life suddenly shifts into focus. Is there a nest in sight?
