From the director of the acclaimed MAN OF FLOWERS comes this compassionate and personal drama about a young woman (Isabelle Huppert) whose vision is jeopardized by an auto accident. She must choose between having an infected eye removed or total blindness. Through a relationship she develops with a blind lecturer, she overcomes the isolation and emptiness which has overwhelmed her, and finds a new meaning to life.
