Nice guys always finish last, unless you pretend to be a bad boy. Mustafa Moradi just wants a girl to like him for who he is. Instead, every girl he talks to would rather be his friend. At a summer soccer tournment in a city nearby his hometown, he is given the option to have all of his wildest dreams come true when he is offered a starting spot on the Italian team (even though he is really Iranian). After he accepts, his new teammates give him a makeover that seems too good to be true. With a new outfit, a new walk, a new hairdo, and even new pickup lines, Mustafa becomes the incredibly suave Italian “Massimo.” Immediately, he meets Linnea and they quickly fall for each other. As he gets farther into his lie about being Italian, he struggles to find a way to make Linnea understand who he really is and where he is from.
