CLARA AND I

In the opening shot, Antoine plays games with his therapist, the first clue to his personality. He is 33, a sensitive actor with many friends, and has decided to settle down and have a family. The only problem: he hasn?t found the right woman yet. Enter Clara, a lovely woman who works as a train waitress while studying literature. This film shows how easily these two slip into a romance, and into a couple in love. Everything seems perfect ? their rapport, their humor, their passion. But no story can be that beautifully boring. The romance is dealt a heavy blow; one that Antoine can?t quite handle, which is a deal-breaker with Clara. As Antoine fumbles around, female audiences everywhere will be nodding their heads when he comes to the conclusion that men understand things much later than women do. Does this realization bring them back together?
