COLORable

Ayaka, is a color-blind high school senior. Although the world she sees is all in black and white, she hopes to pursue a career in photography in the future, just like her late mother. Her father is opposed to his daughter’s daring to take a difficult path. He gives Ayaka an assignment to take a picture that will convince him by a certain date. Ayaka wonders what kind of picture she should take, and sees a picture of fireworks taken by her mother in a gallery. There, Ayaka discovers that the photo, which she had been led to believe was a vividly colored one, is in black and white. From that moment on, the colors of the world Ayaka sees begin to change…
