About This Film
Film Overview
“Just be yourself, and you'll be fine.” These are the encouraging words of Christian's mom as he boards the train for Oslo at the start of Johan Kaos' rousing CRACK, BACK & SACK. Leaving his simple small town to finish college in the city, Christian is in for a very rude awakening. His roommates are Leo and Karl, two macho pick-up artists who treat sex as a competition. To them, girls are just numbers. Refusing to be a part of their shenanigans, shy Christian goes the good guy route, hoping for something more meaningful. After several rejections and a broken heart, he gives in to their offer to teach him their secrets. Soon Christian finds himself in a never-ending party of sex and drugs. For once girls are paying attention, giving him a sense of power that he never had before. As the saying goes, it's all fun and games until someone gets hurt. Christian is about to learn what happens when debauchery takes a dark turn into depravity. If only he'd listened to his mother. (In Norwegian with subtitles) —E.F.
