In her emotionally explicit sophomore feature, writer/director Elena Martín Gimeno stars as 30-year-old Mila, who recently moved back to her Catalan coastal hometown, as she recalls the upbringing that led to a fraught adulthood of sexual dysfunction and generational wounds.
