About This Film
Film Overview
After losing his restaurant, Clay MacGuire (D.B. Sweeney) has to start his career all over, at ENTRY LEVEL. Pushing 40, with no real “corporate skill-set,” Clay starts to apply for jobs and begins to sit through the endless drone of human resources personnel asking, “What's you're greatest strength/weakness?” The only redemption he finds in week after week of the same interview is the camaraderie he discovers with his fellow applicants (who seem to travel in packs from interview to interview). Among the other applicants is the beautiful and well-educated Liz. Although Liz spent her youth traveling with the Peace Corps, she is now finding out that digging wells in Bangladesh isn't exactly what corporate America is looking for. Clay and Liz hit it off early and start to spend time together outside of the HR waiting room. It's clear that Clay is starting to fall in love, but the job hunt soon turns into a competition between them. Can Clay and Liz separate their affection for each other from the need to find employment? – WFG
