Hivemind Deluxe

Rae, a disillusioned young woman, is dragged to a "Close Encounters of the Fifth-Kind" experience by her boyfriend, Chip, as her birthday gift. As the meditation experience begins, she is suddenly abducted into an alien space where she is offered belonging and a cure-all to her problems. She must resist the "hivemind upgrade" in order to save her mind and soul. A revolving story of manipulation and misinformation reveals itself.
"Hivemind Deluxe" is a social Sci-Fi satire artfully presented as an alien abduction thriller. On the surface, it is a fun supernatural ride; underneath, it’s a layered commentary on sub-culture and the weaponization of propaganda against an unsuspecting public.
