Hopeless Hopeful

By most accounts Jorge is not a remarkable guy. He lives a routine existence and is seemingly happy with the daily monotony. But when he discovers his wife Lisa is in need of a life-saving heart surgery, Jorge's world becomes anything but mundane. Without health insurance or the funds to pay for the operation, he's faced with a serious quandary. How far would you go to save the one you love? Finding inspiration in the movies, he decides to rob a bank. There are several things wrong with this idea, but his naivety is the most concerning—Jorge knows zilch about robbery. To make things even worse, he's decided not to tell Lisa about the half-baked plan he's concocted. Jorge's robbery attempts become sabotaged by his unavoidable awkwardness, quickly taking HOPELESS HOPEFUL from drama to straight-up comedy. Meanwhile, his wife is cooking up a secret plan of her own – one that will eventually cross paths with his. Jorge's devotion to Lisa will melt your heart.
